If you are interested in living a low carbon life, then I suggest you:
♥ only buy as much food as you will eat ♥ eat very little or no meat or dairy ♥ use public transport, walk or cycle as often as you can ♥ buy ‘green’ electricity or at least electricity from renewable sources ♥ stop participating in the ‘consumer’ economy and become a participant in the ‘conserver’ economy (meaning buy and use less ‘stuff’ ♥ tell your government representatives that you are concerned about climate change and you expect them to take action ♥ buy local, seasonal food ♥ engage with the sharing economy eg: libraries, AirBNB, share cars arrangements ♥ support a price on carbon ♥ try to ‘say no to fossil fuels’
We have the chance to create a high quality, happy future; let’s take that chance now and know joy.
Let there be no doubt about the conclusions of the scientific community: the threat of global warming is very real and action is needed immediately.
